Translation of the article in the Finnish newspaper Länsi-Suomi

Seven months holiday travelling around the world. The idea does look attractive. However Carolina Meza and Frédéric Gheung did not want the trip to be only a scenic-landscape tour. The two young engineers changed their journey into a campaign about climate protection.
- The first idea was to travel, but then we thought that we needed something more than the trip, Gheung explains.
The couple decided to organize discussions about climate change with the local people of the places they would visit. In each country they could highlight a topic specific to it. The journey began in their home country, France, and continued in South America, Pacific Islands, Australia and India.
- We were pleased to see that in all places we went to, climate change issue is addressed. It is also the case in developing countries, says Meza.

Finland is the last step of the travelers. They visited earlier this week the Ministry of Environment to discuss about the international climate negotiations.
- We met the direction of the climate change department. It was very interesting. For instance we talked about the fact that Finland was one of the first countries to implement a carbon tax, in the early 90s, Meza and Gheung describe.

The tour ends next week in Paris. The testimony can be found on their internet page www.oneclimateonechallenge.com, where the articles are posted. They reveal that they are thinking about printing a book gathering the articles.
